Well Connected
West Lothian is one of the most successful locations in Scotland alongside the M8 and M9 motorways. Three railway connections and close proximity to Edinburgh and Glasgow International Airports. This is one of the reasons for Livingston’s success as a business location situated between Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland’s two principal cities.
Trains to Fairways
Served by three Scotrail railway routes, you can get to West Lothian with ease. Catch the half-hourly service to Livingston, Uphall or Bathgate from Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket or Edinburgh Park stations. A half hourly service operates between Glasgow and Edinburgh, stopping in West Lothian at Linlithgow.
There is also a half hourly service between Edinburgh, Linlithgow, Falkirk, Stirling and Dunblane. For businesses with goods to transport out of West Lothian, the new Eurocentral Rail Freight Terminal, located just off the M8 between Glasgow and Edinburgh, provides a direct link to Europe via the Channel Tunnel.
The intermodal freight service for European and domestic traffic includes a daily service to Italy, France and Benelux countries, regular scheduled services to Spain and Germany and services to all UK destinations - including the deep-sea ports.
